MI PIACI / Celebrating 20 Years

Join us as we celebrate 20 years of elevated footwear, designed for you. From first conception until today, we have been devoted to inspiring and empowering through style, a sentiment which has never been truer than now.

Since the opening of our first store in Newmarket, Auckland in 2002, Mi Piaci has become the home of principled design and inspiring footwear. Growing quickly, by 2008 we had nine Mi Piaci stores across New Zealand.

Initially buying from European footwear suppliers, we soon found it difficult to depend on them for exclusivity and range, so in 2010 we began working directly with factories to gain control over this process. By 2015, we had formed our own in-house design team, dedicated to crafting the elevated and refined footwear designs you love today.

To mark the occasion we introduced Memoir, a limited-edition shoe handmade in only 20 pairs. Embodying the signature confidence of all things Mi Piaci, she is simply iconic. Memoir is now sold out.
