Mi Piaci Muse and Australian Designer, Emily Gurr, takes us through her adored selections from our coveted AW22 range.

"I am in love with a good square toe. Dio looks incredible with a long baggy pant or straight vintage jean. Pair with an oversized jacket, whether it be a blazer or leather bomber and your ready for any day to night activity."

"A good knee high boot is a must have this season. Perfect to pair with a set of stockings under any mini dress, shorts or skirt. Australia does not get as cold as other climates during winter, so a nice warm pair of boots, a knit and oversized blazer and leather bomber are my essentials."

"A mid length chunky boot is an absolute must for your winter wardrobe collection. Kia's gold detail against the rich walnut hue is the perfect hardware to dress up the traditional casual chunky boot. Again, these all-rounders are perfect for day and night. I love wearing a chunky sock with Kia to add some extra dimension to your winter looks and although I usually prefer dressing in black, this season I am loving the light brown tones and creams. Layer, layer, layer!"

"Niko is a classy take on the traditional military boot. A great essential for everyday wear, Niko adds that extra wow factor to any casual look. I try to include masculine and feminine aspects to my outfits to 'toughen' them up. Winter is the perfect season to play around with colours, shapes and layering. This boot is the perfect tool to execute this experimentation."

"A knee-high boot that is not too high or too low is hard to come across but this boot has been designed to perfection. The low heel height is perfect for casual and dressy looks, making it a great versatile winter boot. Style Andie with feminine maxi and midi dresses, add to a low rise mini skirt & tank top or dress up a pair of leather shorts paired with an oversized knit."
